This post is from a small town called Sapa in North Vietnam, close to the Chinese border. We took an all night train ride from Hanoi to the area. What fun!

We slipped into a road side cafe to get a break and a great cup of Vietnamese coffee. It is thick, due both to strength and the use of sweet condensed milk. A tasty treat that I will try to duplicate when home.
Rob and Trish, taken overlooking a steep valley walk. Corn and marijiuana were the main crops we passed. We asked about this back at the hotel and were told it was medicine used by the locals...
